WAGO 221 Lever Nuts

WAGO 221 lever connectors are practical connecting terminals for quickly, neatly and reliably connecting electrical wires. Thanks to the orange operating levers, you can easily insert, secure and, if necessary, release the wire again. This makes the terminals very suitable for connecting and looping through lighting, such as GU10 recessed spotlights.

These WAGO 221 lever connectors are available in 2-way, 3-way and 5-way versions. The 2-way terminal is suitable for connecting two wires. The 3-way terminal is useful when you want to create an extra branch. The 5-way terminal is often used when multiple wires come together or when you want to loop power to multiple spotlights.

The WAGO 221 series is suitable for different types of wire, including solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors. Depending on the application, conductors from 0.2 to 4 mm² can be connected. For a good connection, a strip length of 11 mm is maintained.

The transparent housing makes it easy to see if the wire is correctly inserted into the terminal. This makes the connection clear and reduces the chance of incorrect installation. The compact design ensures that the terminals fit well in many junction boxes and splice boxes.

The terminals are suitable for a nominal voltage of up to 450V and a current of up to 32A. This makes them more than suitable for standard lighting applications in homes and commercial buildings.

When connecting recessed spotlights, a separate lever connector is usually used for each wire color. For example, one terminal for phase, one terminal for neutral, and if necessary, one terminal for earth. This keeps the installation neat, clear, and easily accessible.
